I actually liked using screencast for this assignment. It did feel weird tho some times, and there were a few moments where I forgot that I was even recording. It makes me realize how much work the Youtube famous people do with applications like this and with editing. It really takes a lot of time and hard work. Talking and hearing myself will always be weird, but I think that I am starting to get a little used to the feeling. I personally don’t see myself using this immediately, but possibly some time in the future. I think this skill can come in handy almost anywhere within the working field. If you need to show someone how to accomplish a task, but are physically unavailable to do it, you could take a screencast to show and explain the task. The availability of this skill, I believe, will really valued by those who work in the virtual workplace and do not experience that much physical contact with clients and employees.
Currently right now as I am typing, I cannot think of any creative projects that might benefit from this application, but I am sure as we progress along with this blog, these posts, and various applications, many ideas will come to thought.
